We offer you a variety of interesting services in a warm and friendly family atmosphere. We seek to overcome feelings of isolation by encouraging participation in daily activities under the supervision of a professional and dedicated leader.

SECURITY

YOUR SAFETY, FIRST…

Our residence is equipped with a secure monitoring and fire alarm system. These systems are checked systematically. The evacuation and emergency measure plans are revised annually. All floors are equipped with several fire extinguishers. In addition, we are one of the few certified residences in Quebec with an integral detector and sprinkler system covering the entire building.

The main door is equipped with a video control and a remote opening feature, with audio signals. We can thus ensure that our residents are not inconvenienced by strangers.

Every room and washroom or bathroom has an emergency call feature as well as hallways which are equipped with handrails to assist our residents’ movements. Floors are made of anti-skid materials for added safety.

EIn case of a power outage, an emergency lighting system is activated by our power generator.
Finally, our personnel monitors the building and ensures your well-being 24/7 with visual surveillance rounds throughout evenings and nights.

FOR YOU!

Throughout your stay, our nursing assistants and beneficiary attendants are there to help, accompany and assist you in your daily routine in order to ensure the proper delivery of care and maintaining of your hygiene. Our main objective is to maintain your autonomy as long as possible and provide you with safe and secure services and care.

Our nursing assistants are available 7 days a week from 7 AM to 3 PM. Beneficiary attendants are present 24/7.

All personnel receive regular training and participate in quality assurance measures in order to offer the best services and care possible. All facts and events related to your health are recorded in a personal follow-up file. This includes details on your prescriptions and information on your health status. All this information kept strictly confidential and under lock. 

DAILY LIFE

ROOMS

Upon arrival, you’ll receive your room key. For safety reasons, a duplicate is kept by the staff.
Rooms are empty when rented but may be furnished on request; consequently, you may furnish your new apartment with your own furnishings and personal belongings in order to recreate familiar surroundings.


All rooms are equipped with an emergency call system, sprinklers and smoke detectors. In addition, electricity, heat, cable and telephone are included. During the summer, use of an air conditioner is allowed, but with additional seasonal fees for electricity. You may have your air conditioner installed for a small fee.

EXTERNAL SERVICE

HAIRDRESSER

You can make an appointment by speaking directly to the hairdresser or by placing your name on the intended list. Of course, fees are at the expense of the users of the service.

HAND AND FOOT CARE

A registered podiatrist is available on the premises for specialized foot care (corns, calluses, ingrown nails, thickened nails) and is trained to care for diabetics.
